Netflix wanted to replicate the movie's gritty, inner-city feel, and let fans step into a world where humans, orcs and magic all coincide. This was to maximise the hype and flood social channels.
Our facial recognition tech created a live, 3D overlay which turned fans into orcs and snapped a mug shot. The finished photo, complete with logos and a frame was ready in seconds to share on social.
So did the attendees, racking up 323 branded, orc mugshots. The immediately shareable nature of them saw 77% posted on social right from the booth.
