Because General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) means that EU citizens have the right to maintain control over their information. They have to give active consent for the use of their data and they have the right to have their information forgotten. Talk to EventsTag for data capture and consent expertise.
When your guests register for your event, buy tickets, sign up for an interactive event experience or share their photos, all that can generate data. EventsTag has created an event technology platform which allows you to manage the data you gather, structure it and ensure you have the necessary permissions required by legislation.
Data is an asset. Yet it has to be handled correctly so that you can make the most of it without running into personal data breaches. By handling data with EventsTag event technology, you can maximise marketing opportunities.
Premier League Fan Park – EventsTag was hired by an events agency to create a RFID wristband registration system for football fans in Bangalore, India. Spread across the 9 registration stations, we had banks of tablets which could quickly capture data and issue individual RFID wristbands. In total, 40,000 fans registered their details at the park.
“There is massive scope for gathering, analysing and using data from events. It just needs the right procedures and technology in place.”
